The Ving clap skate is made in Holland made for the experienced and recreational skater. This makes skating even more fun and comfortable.

Freedom of choice:
With this skate you have the freedom of choice: either a clap skate or a traditional skate. Securing (blocking) is done by means of a simple 'locking pin'. You also have freedom of choice of shoe. THe fixation distance is 165 and 195mm. The inline and short track shoes fit's on this blades.

Half-high or Half-low:
The Ving Clap skate is 1.5 to 2 cm. Lower than existing competition skates. The Ving folding noor is therefore extremely suitable for both artificial ice and natural ice.

Trustworthy :
This skate has a limited number of parts. This makes the skate less vulnerable. The hinging is done by means of a compression spring (instead of a tension spring). Extensive tests have shown that breakage is virtually impossible. The maximum angle between tube and shoe is 30 degrees. Here too, tests have shown that a larger angle is not necessary.

Low weight :
The Ving clap skate has a lower weight than existing clap skates. This is less tiring, especially on long trips.

Comfortable :
Here too, practice has shown that the clap skate is more comfortable to ride than a traditional skate. Muscle pain is now virtually a thing of the past.

Price level:
The skate has a price level that is acceptable for a large group of motivated recreationalists.

Skating blade:
Stainless steel. Chromeflex. Hardness 60 Rc. Thickness 1.25 mm. Practical tests have shown that this is an ideal thickness for use on both artificial and natural ice.

Tube :
The aluminum tube is extruded in the 7000 alloy. The tube is torsionally stiff but still has a low weight.

Heel and foot plates:
The shoe is mounted on a frame made of technical polyamide 6.6. This concerns Zytel ST. This plastic is very resistant to low temperatures.

Hinge point:
Unlike other clap skates, the hinge point is not attached to the tube but through the tube. The result is that the VING clap skate is only a few millimeters higher than the traditional low skate.
