Description
The Avenger hardcore 110mm wheel from Bont is their first mass produced racing wheel with an aluminum core. Bont chose an aluminum hub because an aluminum core provides more rebound than a plastic or nylon core.
Thanks to the aluminum core, this wheel has achieved the highest “rebound score” ever.
The Bont wheel is produced by MPC, a manufacturer that has won more world titles in the last 10 years than any other wheel manufacturer.
To ensure that the core is not too stiff, Bont bent the spokes. CAD-CAM software was used to perfect the weight and rebound of the core. A mechanical lock is used to ensure that the urethane can never be separated from the core. The Avenger has a full wheel width of 24mm with an outer diameter of 110mm.
The bearing bore is machined before and after anodizing to ensure a perfect fit.
The urethane is cast by MPC and uses their patented high rebound flex band.

NOTE: Aluminum core wheels are more precise than plastic wheels, so you should use 10.2mm spacer. If you use regular 10.35mm spacers, it will still work, but you may hear some noise while skating. A bearing press is a good idea for installing and removing bearings from aluminum wheels.
