The 2010 Bont Platinum blade features slight blade and tube refinements along with new cup mount design. It is still made with K190 powder metal tool steel. It holds its edge up to 8 times longer than normal steel blades. The powder metal structure is very fine which gives exceptional gliding properties. The platinum blade is laser cut and hardened in Australia, and glue and machined in Holland.
We stock the K190 short track blades with a 9m radius and a factory bend or straight. We also offer them in KR and Half KR spec which have the mounting set back 2cm and 1cm respectively on the blade.

All tube dimensions are in inches (1 inch = 25.4 millimeters)
Shoe length tube
47 --- 18.5 inch
The length in inches is in front of the entire tube, so not only the sliding surface.
For large skaters (in relation to the shoe size), it is advisable to take a tube that is 1 inch longer.
For small skaters one inch shorter is recommended.
Skaters with good technique can also use a tube that is 1 inch longer.
Beginner should get a shorter tube.
