The New Balance Fresh Foam X 860 is the shoe you need if you are looking for an anti-pronation all-round running shoe. No matter what pace you run - a 5K or a long endurance run - you can rely on the Fresh Foam X 860 shoe. This model has a narrow last (Narrow). This last is suitable for people with narrower feet, whose feet have too much space in a regular last. The Fresh Foam X 860 meets New Balance's green leaf standard: the upper is made of 50% or more recycled material and the midsole or outsole is made of at least one material that contains at least 3% organic or 5% recycled content.
Midsole
The shoe with the Fresh Foam X midsole provides ultra-cushioning during your run and gives a responsive feeling underfoot. The midsole has a dual density and consists of two Fresh Foam X-foam materials. It provides the midsole with plenty of cushioning for your heel and forefoot, while also providing crucial arch support. It features a firm Fresh Foam X-block in the middle of the shoe to prevent pronation. This running shoe gives you the support you need when you roll over the inside of your foot a little more, thanks to the special embroidery on the medial side.
