Ribcap, the latest in head protection for every winter sports enthusiast. This shock-absorbing beanie has been developed with the new StructUreTM(D3O). This "intelligent" material has been specially developed to absorb blows and soften the impact of the fall, but does not take over the full effect of a helmet. The effect is in the molecular composition of the StructUreTM(D3O). Upon impact, the molecules grab each other, as it were, which distributes the force over a larger surface area. After the impact, the material returns to its original shape. All this happens in fractions of a second.
