The plates are firmly mounted in the block.

* always use water as a lubricant, the diamond will then have less wear
* pressing hard during use is unnecessary and unwise
* After use, rinse and dry thoroughly
Even the finest diamond plate is too coarse for polishing the irons. We recommend polishing the irons with the Zandstra 3M polishing system.
The diamonds wear out during use. This goes as follows:
*in the beginning the diamonds have a sharp structure
* the sharpness disappears after 1 or 2 sharpening sessions. The diamond then retains the same sharpness for a longer period of time
* after many grinding cycles, the cutting speed decreases
Including instructions for use in Dutch and English.
